about

"Mind The Noise" is the brainchild of an international multi-instrumentalist and a local legend hip-hop producer. Working together, Michael O’Brien plays over thirty diverse instruments acquired around the globe which are then transformed into hip-hop beats by Danny Fal. Being that the collaboration is a purely instrumental, continuous mix, the outcome is an uninterrupted, cinematic expression left open to the audience.

The album focuses on the mind and by tapping into a vast array of cultures it is able to explore a multitude of directions the mind may travel to in a given time. The title, “Mind the Noise,” comes from the London underground phrase “Mind the Gap” only in this instance it is a warning that there are unfamiliar sounds on this journey: Noise.
