How they made it: Danny was on the turntables going through samples when he played a Black Keys drum sample. Michael played the lick you hear in the song followed with the same lick just one octave higher. The “alarm” noise you hear is a random note Michael hit using a tremolo effect.


Origin of Song Title: “Fire” gets its title because it is the obligatory “FIRE!” track to start off a hip-hop album as quoted by Evan J, who wrote a verse to the song.
