Machine Malfunction

from Mind The Noise by Craic Attics

/

about

Date Recorded: March 23, 2011
Order in which song was made for project: 7 of 42
Instruments Played: Electric Guitar recorded into loop pedal

How they made it: The only song recorded that night, it was done right before Modern Family came on when Danny offered, "Should we see if I can make a beat in Reason?" It was another apocalyptic / “end of the world” loop made by Michael. Danny cut up the sample and played the pieces on his keyboard. Months later the song was revisited and the version on the album features more of a build up. At one point it didn’t make the album but was added because it’s the only song on Mind The Noise that has “Dead Wrong” drums.

Origin of song title: Titled Machine Malfunction simply because it sounds like a computer going through issues.
