How they made it: Since they saw great results starting with bass and drum on the first track of the night, Michael picked up a capo (which he constantly refers to incorrectly as a "de capo") and the bass and laid down one of the nicest grooves on the album. On top of the groove, an "easy" xylophone was added, thus producing "Nice 'n Easy."


Origin of song title: The bass is nice and the xylophone is easy. The track originally contained several unappealing layers but fortunately they were removed. As a result, they could no longer call the track, "Cluttered Mess."
