The Dark Side

from Mind The Noise by Craic Attics

/

about

Date Recorded: April 20, 2011
Order in which song was made for project: 12 of 42
Instruments Played: Autoharp

How they made it: The Autoharp sample was taken from a “Birthday Jam Session” Michael had earlier that day. Danny supplemented the eerie, antique-sounding Autoharp with a fresh 90’s beat, making sure to switch up the beat every so often. Towards the end of the track Danny alters the pitch which makes it sound like the track is dying.

Origin of song title: Part of the "Birthday Beats" session on April 20, 2011, this is the "ominous" one of the bunch not only for that night but for the album as a whole. Therefore, it was awarded with the name, "The Dark Side."
