Traffic Jam

from Mind The Noise by Craic Attics

/

about

Date Recorded: September 4, 2011
Order in which song was made for project: 28 of 42
Instruments Played: Trumpet, Bass

How they made it: Regarded initially by Michael as "the wackest shit on the album," it is the only track featuring a "jungle dance break" for drums. It was the first time recording a trumpet on the project and for good reason. The trumpet noises that didn’t make the cut are downright embarrassing. From the "let's not speak about this again" September 4, 2011 session.

Origin of song title: The title "Traffic Jam" comes from Michael's mom hearing the beginning of the song and saying "this sounds like traffic."
