Tribal

from Mind The Noise by Craic Attics

/

about

Date Recorded: September 8, 2011
Order in which song was made for project: 41 of 42
Instruments Played: Djembe

How they made it: One of three tracks on the album where Danny does not provide a beat. The track intended to be a "drum and percussion" song featuring worldly instruments, but the goal quickly turned into only recording the djembe from Thailand, because "timing was an dilemma."

Origin of song title: This song was initially called “The Kava Made Me Do It” to reference the effect kava-kava has on one’s liking of hand drums, but Michael opted with the one-word title of “Tribal” instead.
