about

Craic Attics have finally done it. After years of playing together, countless sessions, and several albums, they finally played to an audience. Aware of the steppingstone, they set out to make it special, and ultimately, came out of it transformed.

8 songs - all improvisations - the duo did what they do best: gel together for a uniform sound that is both worldly and unworldly at the same time. Naturally, that bond strengthened even more given the circumstances: a live show at Michael's Craft Tea shop, accompanied by visuals projected by the unofficial third member of the Craic Attics, a. shea. Serendipitous is the word that comes to mind, as visuals magically synced with unplanned performances, such as Trumpet Wom' blowing her horn in the audience right as the Craft Tea video of her at Graffiti Pier played on the screen.

a. shea's winks and nods put all the players in a comfortable mood, allowing the music to flow effortlessly while the audience interacted with visuals as if they were on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

It's worth noting, this is exactly what the Craic Attics set out to do in 2011 with their debut, "Mind the Noise." The journey may have taken detours and delays, but that's the nature of dreams.
